Is It Too Early For Amazon Affiliates To Plan For Christmas?

Hi All ,
Christmas is less than four months away and we know how popular Amazon is at that time of year.


My question is are Amazon affiliates planning their campaigns now or is it too early?


Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Yes we are! Halloween costumes, too - but toys start this early, and some other Christmas stuff does, too.

    A lot of businesses start preparing for Christmas in July....Just look at Home Shopping Network....they have Christmas in July every year!

    It is never too early to plan for an upcoming holiday,even if your articles are in place now, shopping searches go around Oct/Nov/Dec, then all searches will drop sharply after xmas or back to what you call "normal" searching, and it is never to late to plan for the next holiday.

    If you are doing Amazon FBA / dropship etc., it is perfect time to plan out.
    If your question is just from Amazon affiliate point of view, I guess time is already running out for content promotion, building links etc.

    If you have right niche (in this case super easy to find since its a seasonal niche) And if you do your keyword research right (you can use Ahrefs and it's super accurate) and do your content. I have been doing product jacking for few years thanks to web 2.0s and contextual links i can dominate the niche market. Sucess depends on niche research Good luck!

    For your answer. No its not too early if you are thinking to get organic traffic from google aka SEO traffic. It needs time to index.

    As you say, it could be a good time to start thinking about aiming to go to the top of the search engines so by starting now we could be at the top before Christmas - a good thought!
