Automatically add amazon affiliate links to hundreds of products?

I have a site that I built up over a number of months that has a lot of reviews of my favorite products I've bought from amazon.

I'm only now finding out that I could be earning affiliate money from this but as I have hundreds of products and reviews on my site - will I have to manually go back over each link and change it to an affiliate link?

I'm using Wordpress and I've looked for a plugin that will automatically do this but can't seem to find what I need (maybe it doesn't exist?) I don't need it to generate ads for other products at the bottom of my posts, but need it to convert the amazon link already there into one that will be an affiliate link for me.

Has anyone done this before or know of a way to do it. I can't imagine having to go back over all the links and changing them

Thank you for any advice you can give!

How would a plugin know what to link to?

PS Look into amazon's TOS before you do anything. They have some rules about how you can link to their stuff. You don't follow their rules, they kick you out.

You're probably best off to go back and manually add in the link

  • Thanks for taking the time to send replies. I really appreciate it!

I really hoped there'd be something out there, some sort of plug in.

I guess I've got a busy few weeks ahead going back and updating all my links!

When it comes to amazon, you should never use any type of automated tools, if these tools do not come from amazon directly, then you are at risk of burning your site; I ran across a plugin the other day, and the author told me his plugin has not been amazon compliant for many months, and this is when I decided not to use any more automated tools, remember, that author is not going to care that your account getting closed, as of right now, I do not use any type of amazon plugins, I do everything manually. Do not put your faith in a plugin that may be 100% up to date with amazon TOS, it may not be, and amazon will blame you, and people rarely win by taking short-cuts.
