Whether on ebay or any other site - you need to learn the basics of dropshipping - many good threads on this forum if you use search and find them.

    Saturated ?

NO, for those who know what they are doing
YES, for those who jump in without a plan, good suppliers, and knowledge

That's my opinion from watching this forum in recent months.

I`m thinking of doing a course on just that. I heard good things about it. A friend of mine took it said it was full of golden nuggets. But to me getting products from Amazon and selling them on eBay seems a bit to easy like everybody is doing it.

So that`s what i need to know is there still room or is the guy selling it is doing that because it`s gonna become impossible or is already impossible to succeed.

If you plan to buy from Amazon and sell on ebay - I'd say you definitely need a course.

A friend of mine took it said it was full of golden nuggets.
How much PROFIT has your friend made since accessing the 'golden nuggets'?
    That's the question to ask.

For drop shipping - you don't buy in bulk, that would be buying wholesale.
HERE IS THE PROBLEM WITH DROP SHIPPING ON EBAY
    • They Don't Like It!
-ebay prefers you have the item in stock. Tons of people are doing it - but you really have to do your research and find a dropshipper that not only stocks the product your selling, but they must ship fast as well!
    • You have to rely on the company doing the drop shipping
-Just 1 or 2 orders that get to your customers late can lead to negtaive feedback on a slow spiral to your death as a seller on ebay.

As regards saturated. If you are selling red widgets and 1000 other people are selling red widgets, it might be saturated. If you are selling red widgets for female blue people and 1000 other people are selling red widgets, it's not saturated.

Find an angle that's different. Find the people who'd respond to / fall into the group that likes your angle.

Starbucks became a big company in a time when there were tons of places that sold coffee. Off the bat, they charged 2 times more. Because they did not sell only coffee. They sold coffee with vanilla syrup and whip cream (for 3 times the price of a regular coffee). They sold coffee with ice in it. They called their coffee drinks Americano and Carmel Macchiato. They called their large cup Venti (20, in Italian, because it's 20 ounces). But people are willing to pay more for Venti than for large.

Mostly, they sold an atmosphere, the idea that their shop is your home away from home, the idea that if you are there you must have arrived (or are doing well).

How can you reposition what you're selling? Or how can you position yourself that's different (in a desirable way) according to the people you're targeting?
