Incomplete zip code in dropshipping

Hi
I've just noticed that the supplier put an incomplete zip code, he just put 40475 only, while it is 40475-2912.
I tried to contact him to edit and correct the zip code, but I couldn't.
am I in trouble? is it a big deal? Will the product delivered to the buyer?

It's fine - no one but the govt uses that second set of zip code anyway. Almost everyone uses only the first five numbers - that's all you need for delivery.

The last 4 digits are for large buildings like a big apartment complex.

Good explanation of the idea and why hardly anyone uses that last part now.

I know we have one but I couldn't even tell you what the last four digits are for my house or my business. Never used it.

Doubtful it matters when your house IS your business location.

Now add 500 additional mailboxes like an apartment complex and odds are you'll never receive mail from the USPS again.

UPS is a whole other deal, they'll find you even If you're lost in the woods.

Fedex, they're rolling dice in the back of their outsourced vans. The gamble that rarely wins.
