Best Ecommerce coach/course/resources?

Hi all,

I am interested in getting in to ecommerce. I have some time and money I can invest and feel ecommerce is something I'd like to explore - Shopify in particular has interested me, though Amazon looks quite interesting too.

Basically what I was wondering is could you all recommend the best coaches/courses/video series/books on all things ecommerce from successful niches, building a store, marketing it and everything else involved in running a successful store. Whether paid or free, it doesn't matter. I am just looking for the best resources to give me the best chance of being successful. Obviously I know what will be most important is my time and effort, but I would still like to be as well equipped for success as possible.

    There are a lot of Facebook groups on E-commerce, and a lot of Youtube Channels on this subject. Alot of WSO on this subjsect also.

    There are many different models of eCommerce to choose from and they all can be successful if implemented correctly (some, more profitable than others, in my opinion).

    MValmont (above) has a course that is very inexpensive that concentrates on the Shopify/Facebook model that is certainly worth taking a look at.

    At Store Coach, which is free, we teach a different model.

    You'll find others on WF, as well, like the one offered by Walter Hay (a.k.a. ImportExport), which is a third different model and definitely a good course offered at a more than reasonable price.

    Ive already had a look at both your courses and I'm considering both. I don't know whether its better to do a few or just focus on one.

    I just want to be as well equipped as possible.

      I'd go through both courses. They are very different and some things you learn in one can be applied to the other to make it even more effective. The one thing you learn in this business is that you always keep learning and can never learn too much.

    I recommend Jim Cockrum's Proven Amazon course or his coaching team.
    The products he offers are great and you can get started within few times.
    He is driven by your own success instead of him making money off you.
