* I've posted this as a tip in my WSO but I thought more Warriors could use this advice so I'm posting it here.

For sending traffic through PAID advertising in your ecommerce Store, here are some considerations when choosing which platform:

Google Adwords - This is one of the quickest ways to get orders going to your store. You directly advertise to people who are specifically looking for your product. If you have a product with the keyword "latest design baby carrier" - you can target people who searches for that keyword and present them an irresistable offer through your ad.

Facebook Ads - Unlike Google Adwords, people on Facebook are not conditioned to buy, but you can target people who have the highest probability of purchasing your product based on Audience Interests. If your product is a "latest design baby carrier", you can target Women, 21-35, who work from home or stay-at-home, who also liked pages of big baby product brands, who are also Engaged Shoppers. This is called Stacked Interests. It is not certain that this targeted audience will buy your product, so it requires testing your products unlike in Google Adwords.

Instagram Influencer Shoutouts - Instagram shoutouts cost around $10-$20 per shoutout from IG accounts that have 100k-500k followers. Again for example you have a product for a baby carrier, you find high engaging IG accounts related to babies or parenting moms or parenting dads, and deal with them for Instagram shoutouts. They will mention your IG account in their latest post, or even post your Ad in their feed and hope for sales to come in. With Influencer shoutouts, the potential of getting a sale is also high, since the Influencer is already a "trusted" source of advice, and if he/she gives a recommendation to your product then the followers have a high chance to buy what the influencer recommends.

RETARGETING: Once the audience visits your site for the first time, they are considered "Cold" traffic and their potential of converting is still low. The next course of action is to retarget them - or show them another ad that will bring them back to your site. If they visit again, they are now considered "Warm" traffic and the potential of conversion is now higher. Retargeting is possible with Google Adwords and Facebook Ads (which also handles Instagram Ads).

Good luck guys and success is just one conversion away!
