Depends on what you are selling!

    What products/services do you sell?

The quickest way is through Google Ads.

Promote one product that is trending on Google.

Ensure your site loads quickly or do it through an app.

Really like the website but a couple if things to consider:

            1) The logo needs changing
            2) Have products on Instagram
            3) Utilise Google for Business

If you help setting up the above let me know.

Don't forget Pinterest too. Use all the major social media platforms. You can share coupons, sales info, etc. If you have a really good picture, you could post it to Pinterest, then use Stumbleupon and give it a thumbs up. Your picture will get traffic, then when they click on it the link will take them to your site.

Yeah, the logo needs serious work. You could probably pay a small amount on Fiverr and get a really professional logo, or those fixed at least.

Create something of value, e.g. a PDF about your niche, and offer it for free on your website when people subscribe with their email. Then blast it out in a FB ad for $5 per day for 5 days. You'll should start building a solid emailing list, which you can then retarget.

Guest posting is one idea Flores.

If you are selling women's clothes, build friendships with bloggers in the fashion niche. Promote them. Comment on their blogs. All while you practice writing in a Word document daily.

Guest post invites will come your way, then publish helpful, content-rich guest posts on these blogs to grow your niche and to drive traffic to your blog.

The fast-way to get huge traffic for your e-commerce is:
    1. Using Google Adwords to get traffic base-on beauty & fashion keywords.
    2. Using Facebook Ads to get awareness, so make it 2 or 3 adset: 1 for impression, 1 again for click and 1 again for instagram promote. Don't make it become one ads, it is for your ads measure.
    3. Do the Search Engine Optimization for long-terms traffic, even you're already using Google Ads or Facebook Ads.
    4. Reach out to Beauty & Fashion Blogger, so they can help you to promote your e-commerce.
    5. Consistent write a blog post with relevan content about Fashion & Beauty.

But before you do 5 point, you need to do one thing: Change the logo become more good looking as Fashion Ecommerce.

    Good luck!

SEO is the best way to get traffic.
You can also try PPC, but it's expensive.
Alternatively, you can try bulk mailing if you have the data of online shoppers.

Google Ads, Pinterest, Instagram. But for Instagram, you will need better photos. YouTube videos too. Again, for YouTube, the visual content has to really be on point and storytelling is a must. Facebook could be utilized, but to sell to that traffic you need more impulse type products.

Design a much better logo. Yours sucks.

What no one touched upon and I didn't in my last post is that your site, like thousands of other sites, is just a generic website with pictures trying to sell products. You have to get yourself noticed from the pack. I guess you can say you have to think outside the box.

I think for anyone to sell, they need to get the consumer to know and trust them. Basically, they have to give someone a reason to shop at their site. I think the only type of selling where this is not really needed is impulse products. Then, I think the customer buys on emotion.

Maybe, create and promote a brand. That is what you can do with social media. You must introduce yourself and present your wares in such a way that people feel comfortable buying from you and especially noticing you. You have to rise up and out of the noise.

In all honesty, your site is no different from many of the generic clothing Shopify sites I see. Who are you? What makes your site special? Why would a customer come and buy from you without knowing you and your store? What are you offering that is different from everyone else? Why should they not just go to Amazon or a similar big site. I don't think people only buy on price, especially if they don't know you. I don't. If you were a customer, would you buy from your site?

Now, be honest and then solve these questions. Then, maybe you can find and keep the customers.

It's just a matter of time. You need comprehensive approach:
    - SEO (content, technical issues, URLs, innerlinking etc.);
    - marketing (service, selling points, prices, offers, content);
    - social networks (you need accurate set goals, because resources are limited, content).

Six types of traffic sources, this is what "channels" are in Google analytics. If you know this already, skip to below.

Organic Search - This is what generally comes from a search engine such as Google or Bing against a specific search term query. In order to get these clicks your page must rank high for said keyword, this is all interconnected with keywords, i.e., the search term. In other words, organic traffic is very highly connected with SEO.

Referral Traffic - also organic (non-paid) in nature, comes via articles or linkages, in other words your site was found by way of a referall from another site, not a search engine.

Paid Search - Pay per click (PPC), not organic, you have paid for this click somewhere, Adwords, Bing, shopping sites, through an affiliate, somewhere. You only get this if you can afford to pay for keywords that you think make sense to drive traffic to your site. Keyword research and good copywriting help.

Direct Traffic - Organic, word-of-mouth / off-line referral. Visitors who come to your website via this method, have either bookmarked your site, or perhaps are repeat visitors or simply know your who you are.

Social - This is really referral traffic that comes in from social link, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, etc, etc.

Email - This is traffic that comes into your site that linked into your site from a email, or an email campaign.

You can see that Items 1-4 are really the basic traffic channels, Organic, Paid, Dircect and Referral, while Social and Email, are really additonal referral channels.

I think Facebook Ads would be an ideal choice for you to get traffic to your website. Facebook allows brands, celebrities to engage with their customers, fans, and people interested in their products, services. It is a casual way of reaching people as compared to traditional marketing or advertising. You can reach people, listen to them, improve your product/services as per feedback from consumers and turn them into brand loyal or brand advocates. If you advertise on Facebook, you can target audience on many criteria such as geography, age, gender, job, school, status (single, married, parent etc.)

I have an also e-commerce website and I'm selling more than 50 products daily with the help of Facebook.

SEO would be the best option. It can increase traffic to your website. And an online presence. But be careful not get penalized by google. It should be done in accordance to the google algorithm. There are many good ways to do it right.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[11407563].message }}
  • I think you will have to look at it two ways. The first would be to generate new traffic to the website and the second will be to sustain repeat traffic. Driving repeat traffic is as important as generating new traffic because these are people who already know about your product and they have been to your website once already. So it is important to re-engage and sustain their interest.

For driving traffic initially you have to be wherever your customers are, I would say running Instagram and Facebook ads can be a great way to pull in traffic. Basically, you have to give your organic presence a boost with paid activities on these platforms. Especially Instagram is the place to be these days. There are many tools that let you sell products directly through Instagram without ever needing the visitor to visit your website.

So coming to the second part of it. You have run ads, established an online presence and you have visitors but they are not converting. Here first thing is to find out where customers drop. You can easily find this out by checking simple GA metrics like bounce rate, exit rate and session duration and so on. After this, you need to start working on your re-engagement tactics. It can be anything like exit intent pop-ups, newsletter sign-ups or Push Notifications. Some way to bring the users back to your website in the future. Push Notifications are great in this regard, the user just needs to have their browser open to receive your notifications.

So you have to constantly monitor and a/b test wherever you require with all these things to arrive at the strategy that works for you. Let me know if this helps.

As per your question, you can increase the traffic at your website by simply 2 methods:-

    1) Increase the traffic by going for social media marketing. You should promote your product on social platforms like, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest by increasing customer interaction.

    2) By customer support service like a proper refund/return facility, query management & getting best customer review. This will help you in creating loyal customers & getting them more than one time on your website

The best way is to promote it on social media. You might be having mny ID's on social media. If not, then create new ID's and gain frineds and followers. You can also promote it on other's id too. The other thing you can do is run Google Ad campaigns. This is also a good way but bid only if you get desired ROI>

There are plenty of ways to drive traffic to your eCommerce shop. I will try to be as detailed as possible:
    • Search PPC. Paid advertising works very well, because you can drive traffic to your website almost instantly and start measuring your results. You will need a budget for testing, but if you get it going, then you can pull a good profit. You should focus on Adwords and Bing Ads (especially recommended)
    • Social PPC. Facebook Ads are great for selling stuff, but you should also pay attention to other advertising networks like Twitter
    • Search Engine Optimization. Driving traffic from search engines (when you target the right keywords) can help you to generate tons of sales. It takes time to rank in Google, but if you accomplish it, then you will do very well
    • Alliances. You can also partner up with platforms like RebateMango, which will share your store with all of their visitors in exchange for offering cashback promos
    • Q&A. I don't really understand how many people disregard the power of Quora. If you want to drive tons of targeted traffic and establish yourself as an authority in your niche, then you need to start working on it!
That's it. I hope that my answer helps you!

To drive traffic you need to give people a reason to visit your site and stick around.what You need to be doing is actively engaging your audience .Promote your products and sevices in the buyers terms not so much the sellers terms.
