Best shopping cart software for PLR articles?

Hi, I was planning to setup a website for PLR articles, but wasn't sure which shopping cart to go with that would be ideal for digital downloads. What would you suggest?

Free is better of course, like Paypal if that would work, but I'd love to hear other suggestions.

PayPal is not a shopping cart, so it obviously will not work. PayPal is a payment processor.

3DCart, BigCommerce and Shopify are all capable of selling downloadable products. Those platforms will cost you anywhere from $20-29/month and are hosted, meaning they are PCI compliant and totally secure.

You can definitely use WordPress which is "free" if you don't count the cost of hosting and for an SSL certificate and if you don't mind being put in charge of all site security, PCI compliance and the never ending WordPress security updates.

Seriously, though, if you can't afford to spend $20-$30 per month on a business, what is the point in even starting it?

If you read the whole post, you'd see that it said "free is better" not "I can't spend any money." Please don't make assumptions. You gave good information otherwise, but no thumbs up for assumptions.

I apologize. That was meant for anyone in general and I should have phrased it better. I see the need for "free" so often here when it comes to shopping cart software, it has become a knee-jerk reaction of mine.

Free is definitely good for some things but never a consideration for the machine that is going to run someone's whole business - the shopping cart.
