I plan to have my private label for a set of products and plan to sell these items from the US to overseas countries. Are there any particular document requirement to export (via courier) to various countries, apart from the invoice and packing list ?. The products I am dealing with will be personal care products such as oil, creams, lotions an so on.

If the invoice is lower than $800 there is no customs procedure. If it is higher than contact your forwarder to check requirements.

It appears that you will be shipping orders to individual customers, in which case you have a lot of homework to do.

For a start, your customers are likely to be charged duty and VAT and that could upset them. HMRC are getting tougher all the time.

That is possibly the least of your problems. The UK is still subject to EU regulations and labelling (UK spelling) requirements are comprehensive.

Here is a link that will give you some idea of what you must show on your labels. The UK Cosmetic, Toiletry & Perfumery Association has a very helpful site http://www.ctpa.org.uk/content.aspx?pageid=429
