Is "Baby" category gated?

Hi guys,


For those of you doing Amazon FBA, I ran into some discussion that "Baby" category was gated (needed approval), and that FBA sellers could not sell stuff in that category without applying for approval. However, I googled the gated categories and found the link (below) that lists gated categories but "Baby" was not one of them. Which should I believe? My budget is not that high and I cannot afford mistakes.

    Fulfillment by Amazon is a warehousing/shipping solution where they stock and ship products for you. It has nothing to do with selling on Amazon (although you certainly could) and, therefore, would never be "gated".

    Of course, if you are talking about selling on Amazon, I don't know why you would be asking people here. I would think you would get the best answer by simply asking Amazon.
