To analyze a niche manually and find a profitable product, will take forever to complete your product research. You definitely need an automatic tool to get this labor intensive job done in a smart and easy way. An Amazon market research tool can automate this process for you. Within minutes you can analyze a niche and identify whether it is profitable to start selling in it or not. Main thing here is sales estimates of the products which is not possible to know manually.

Software usually track thousands of products from each category to build relationships of data and estimates the sales of products. You don't have to use spreadsheets to manually research and find data from Amazon when you can easily do it the smart way.

Thanks for your advice.Do you think Google keyword planner is good tools?

Is the keywords from GKP workable for Amazon?

  • The best way to sell on Amazon is to do a keyword research instead of product research.
That way, you won't run into inventories that you won't be able to sell or will take ages to sell.
Once you have mastered the concept of keyword research instead of product research, you now can list as many niches as possible that are competition free.

Most people probably set themselves up for insane competition by just focusing on the general rules for selling on Amazon.
    • Light and small product
    • Can be shipped by air
    • Sourcing price between $1-$5
Well, all of those things that made it easy for you are also easy to someone else. For a new competitor, there is a very little risk of dropping $2500 on product+marketing in the hopes of finding a winner.
If your product costs $10-15/unit and needs to come in via Ocean Freight to be competitive, you'll see the competition dwindle considerably. You are not going to find the same amount of competition because people aren't willing to "risk" that much on a private label when there are cheaper investments.
