best marketing approach for unique shopify product
i've created a jewelry product with a unique design geared towards a very specific niche. Nothing like it exists, in other words, it can't be found anywhere else.
I've had my first batch of 5 different designs made and I put together a shopify site.
Most IM guys on youtube (dan desilva, chris record, alex becker etc) that speak specifically about selling goods via shopify (most talk about drop shipping which is not exactly what i'm doing) say that Facebook ads is the best approach because you can reach a very specific customer with specific buying behaviors etc.
I have a design background but zero experience in Facebook ads. I did tested 2 different ads based on some youtube suggested methods which resulted in a few clicks and a few likes but no purchases.
My question is about how to best approach this given my current position:
1)
purchase some program or book on Facebook ads. This will take time to learn, a lot of trial and error and a lot of ad spend associated with trial and error.
2)
Find someone who knows how to do it, either person or some sort of agency (I've contacted an ad agency and they told me they only work with established stores to take them to the next level).
3)
Some sort of 1-on-1 coaching, via Skype etc.
I have many products I want to create, not private label but unique products but I need to find a way to sell it so i'm looking for how to best go about it. In the ideal world, i'd either pay a percentage or have a partnership with someone who is excellent at selling and can keep up with all the IM changes who can focus on just that while i can focus on creating the products.
Not sure where to go from here or how to best approach.
Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
