    It kind of depends. Technically speaking, you do not NEED an LLC to ever do business with U.S. manufacturers. The reality is a little bit different most of the time, though.

    If you are looking to dropship from the U.S., you'll find that most U.S. companies will not be keen on doing business with someone from another country. There are various reasons, some valid and some not. It's just how it is, so an LLC would definitely be recommended if you are from any country other than maybe Canada.

    If you are talking about buying bulk, I sincerely doubt any of them will care where you are. That's their job, to sell a bunch of stuff and if you are willing to buy in bulk, they don't care where they have to ship it to, provided you have a place to store it and the means to ship products to customers yourself, or use your own fulfillment center.
