Ecommerce website, how to get affiliates?

Let's say I have an ecommerce website.

I want to get genuine affiliates to promote and get a share of sales.
These would be real and physical items (or could be software actually) - not a course or something.

Where would I start?

Could I register on affiliate websites like cj.com for example and have my offer offered to potential affiliates?

Should I try to directly contact youtubers and instagramers?

  • You can have a link on you website that allows affiliates to sign up as an affiliate.

    Or,

You can put your products on affiliate sites like ClickBank, or JVZoo and people can search for your product to sell in its niche.

    Hi Starengine,

Show off how much you know about your niche through channels where your niche hangs out; YouTube, Warrior Forum, guest posting, your blog, etc.

Being generous with your time and knowledge attracts potential affiliates.

Definitely include an ad or widget on your blog to clearly promote the opportunity but focus on establishing your authority. Simplest way to attract loyal affiliates who want to sell what you have to offer.

Joining the mentioned affiliate networks helps too but good old fashioned generous content sharing does wonders for attracting affiliates to you.
