ecommerce pictures

Hey, i'm a newbie to ecommerce and i'm setting up a store as my first attempt at making ago at it.

My question is how and where do you get all the pictures required for the products?
Do people take the pics themselves or do the supplier supply them?

btw: Its not an affiliate store.

    It depends on the store model you are using. If you are dropshipping, the supplier typically provides them or tells you to copy the ones off of their website. If you are buying bulk from a brand, you may need to ask them for permission to use their photos (sometimes they will insist on it). If it is your own private label product, you would need to take the pictures, yourself.
