Invoice = buying the product but leaving it at the manufacturer?

So I'm trying to get into Amazon's Grocery category. I need to send them recent invoices that will prove I'm a legit seller. Since I don't sell a product yet, I cant provide them the invoices.
If I do purchase the product from the manufacturer and ask them to keep it until I get approved on Amazon. Will I still get invoices that way?
I'm trying to get into the category without opening a store before hand.

But you can't do that because you are not yet a legitimate seller...right? You are trying to 'get into a category' without meeting the standards required. Trying to fool Amazon won't end well.

Is this the same product you need FDA approval on? Is this the same product you are planning to sell but haven't ordered in quantity from a foreign source?

Exactly. I'm trying to learn as much as possible on the go. I understand I can't fool Amazon. That's why I ask everywhere. Some people tell me I cant, some tell me newbies get approved easily now.
So yeah, trying to figure out my options.

By the way, I'd like to add that, you're very active and helpful on this community, thanks a lot man

Sure. just buy it so that you can show an invoice. It shouldn't be hard to tell the supplier to hold onto the order and not ship it yet.

Don't try to trick Amazon....or you'll end like people trying to trick google for seo.

I do not believe that you are "tricking" Amazon. They are asking for an invoice so that they can see that you are getting authentic merchandise from a legitimate supplier and not counterfeit goods. I think it an assumption on the OP's part that they are trying to figure out if HE is legitimate. They are trying to make sure that what he sells is legitimate.
