First of all you have to come out with a detailed marketing strategy on what products you are looking to market and who are your ideal customers and what we have to do to market that product on online. You can request for the products from a big e commerce store to sell on your website and you have to write unique product descriptions for all the products that you are about to add in your website. Initially you can start things off slowly at a lower budget.

Ecommerce means a lot of things. You could start as an affiliate and link to other websites where customers make a purchase. You get paid a commission on the sale as a referral fee. This is the least costly method.

You could buy bulk of brand name products at wholesale or private label a generic product (likely sourced from China). This is the most costly method.

You could dropship items from suppliers who are willing to ship things one at a time to customers. The customer pays you retail price; you pay the supplier a wholesale price; the difference in price is your profit. This is a little more costly to set up than an affiliate site but much less money (and less risky) than purchasing products in bulk.

If it's traditional 'selling physical products' ecommerce you want to do, then the easiest place to start is with a Shopify store and dropshipping. They have a free trial and it's only a cheap monthly fee to keep it running.

Use the free Oberlo app to import products into your store, then when they sell they get shipped from China/USA direct to your customer. So you never have to buy a product nor ever see one.

I'd just point out that the key word used in the above statement is "easiest". Keep in mind that "easiest" means WAAAAY more competition because, well, it's easy. That makes it harder to succeed and the increased competition of thousands of websites selling the exact same, cheap product also drives down profits. Sometimes the path less taken leads to far greater rewards.

I guess you need to ask yourself what types of things you tend to buy. Are they generic, no-name products from Chinese companies you have never heard of or are they brand name products that you know and you trust?

Rather than doing what is easiest, why not do something that far too many people are terrified of doing - making actual human contact by phone with the actual brands you want to carry and seeing if they will dropship for you and, if not, whether they can put you in touch with their large buyers or distributors who very well might? The advantage of selling brand names is that there is far less competition and most manufacturers have M.A.P. pricing, which prevents other websites from driving down the price and profits.

You can do dropshipping and sell products from Chinese suppliers on Aliexpress/Alibaba. Use paid Ads to advertise and learn a sales process.

I'd recommend to start with Affiliate Marketing first and then transition into e-commerce. Better have some initial capital to start e-com.

I would highly recommend you start with affiliate for the below reason:

    1- Less risk
2- You will be able to have the time to identify the actual products that can sell and still make money.
3- Once you know how to pick a good product & you have a proven record that it actually sells, this is when you can actually start looking for the same from Chinese sources and buy in bulk
E-commerce has a lot of pros and cons, yet taking a steady steps with low risk is what you really need as you will learn a lot going through the process itself, it will help you adjust your rates, your marketing campaigns and your target market precisely only then you will be able to boost spend more money and you will have higher ROI than testing with real cash.

Also i would highly recommend that once you start earning from the affiliate, use this money to take couple of good courses in drop shipping to help get you started before you dive into Direct bulk operations.

1: Products So you can go to aliexpress or a similar site (chinese wholesalers) and find many products to dropship, that being said I suggest dropshipping the products that have usa suppliers to cut down on shipping times. Change the search options to see only those products and pick 3-5 products in the same niche or topic to sell. Pick one for your main product ad then branch off.

    2. You will need to initially buy the product as it can take some time for the money to come down from the customer to you so youll want to buy it once the order comes in Ideally. Pick cheap products like fishing lures for this reason.

    3. I would suggest 200-300 for buying products and another 200-300 for running ads. if going that way. Or use free methods like instagram youtube videos to build an email list.

4.Get an email autoresponder and plan on marketing to these people who join your list through your email optin popup on your page that people see from your ad.

    5. I dont suggest using a store at the start. I suggest clickfunnels to build a single page website with the product they saw and a description of the product and then a buy button. They work better then full stores as the stores can distract and overwhelm potential buyers before they actually buy. Then make pages after the buy now button with upsells related to your main product (the other products you picked out) and maybe a discounted price if they buy multiple of the original ad item.

Hope this Helps Any newbies out there! Seriously to all those just started out USE CLICKFUNNELS! I use it on my own system and it is invaluable!
