Sure, LinkedIn is proibably one of the better places for BTB websites. It takes a little more than searching and asking for people to add you to their network; though, you need to interact with people socially - just like with any social network - before you'll make any headway toward getting real contacts that will do you any good on LinkedIn.

If you need to interact with each user individual to get his contact infos that would take then a lot of time to assemble a big list for your business !

Is there a certain way and approach to get noticed and gather a lof of contact infos which one or two actions. Like a smart way that you hit many birds with one stone ?

If you're looking for clients bulk traffic isn't the answer, very targeted traffic is the answer.

You also need to consider your own personal workload. Could you handle 100 clients today, tomorrow, next week, this month?

Focus on the good potential traffic and not everyone under the sun.

Yes i can handle that load, because i sell digital products in an automated way ! So the load isn't an issue !

So by targetting, i'll have to reach and select individualy/manualy each client in Linkedin ?

Definitely; if you are active, engaging and generous on the platform you will have no problems growing business through LinkedIn. The key is to be present, ask questions, to share value in niche specific groups and to be persistent over there.

Over on LinkedIn, the ideal headline formula for your content should be: "Target Audience Name + Your Service + Benefit They Want".

Yes of course! As long as you build your presence in that platform and engage with people, you'll definitely get results.

Treat LinkedIn like a social media site. Here's some advice for making the most out of LinkedIn based on mine, and my clients' experience in using it for lead generation.

        1. Figure out exactly who buys your digital services. (Marketing persona - right audience)
        2. Write social media posts that help your specific buyers get to their goals. (Strong images work best to get clicks. Think memes, infographics, and slide-decks.)
        3. Expand your network with relevant invites. If you add value to conversations and LinkedIn in general, you'll start to receive invites.
        4. Engage in groups and threads, always add value before making any kind of direct solicitation.
        5. The 13-1 social media rule works for LinkedIn. 13 helpful posts, shares, advice, re-posts, to 1 direct marketing post.
        6. Engage with your network, be generous with your likes, recommendations, and endorsements. People will reciprocate.
        7. Be responsive to any comments, likes, or endorsements you receive.

Do all this and LinkedIn will work for you.

Linkedin is much better than Facebook in terms of networking and B2B sales.

Alright, but what about B2C sales is it still reliable then ?

It's a good place for a profile but it won't be your main client source

I see, so in Linkedin there is no way you can target or be viewed by a mass selection of clients there ?

        No, you do not see.

You can buy ads and get seen by many.

You can be active, create a big following and you'll be seen by many.

Either way, resources need to be spent.

But that's the case everywhere, contrary to what some people claim.

Intresting, i have never payed attention to those ads since they look like newsfeed.

Those linkedin Ads that are on the side can't they be blocked by Adblock ?

I think there's no better option than LinkedIn for this.

One catch though - after a number of searches performed in a day, you get limited I believe. You might want to consider their pro membership, it might be worth it.

What do you mean by number of searches ? Is there a limit to how much keywords or names i can search for in their website per day ?

It actually is especially right now since the competition is very low on it. Every social media app has potential clients for every niche so you don't have to worry about that.
    Good luck !

So if i want to target and acquire some clients from Linkedin, engaging in groups or threads is the best solution to gather and be noticed by many clients as possible ?

If i make offers like an Ad inside those threads will i be banned for like some sort of spam ?

  • Linkedin is one of the best platform for B2B model, More than 80% of B2B leads are generated from linkedin it shows how B2B model shifted towards online specially linkedin. Well you cannot rely totally on Linkedin if your focus is totally towards B2B Model than yes you can but you are also looking for B2C than you have to use other platforms like Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest . Well for any Digital Marketing the Strategy is very simple you have to Target your RIght Audience at Right platform.

Possibly, it depends on what you're selling and who you're talking to. If you're selling digital products you may start relationships with digital marketing managers. Just remember that Linkedin isn't direct commerce purchasing, so you'll need to start a genuine conversation and then bring them to your e-commerce site.

  • Yes, LinkedIn can be a great platform for B2B sales!
You can actually try LinkedIn Ads (you can easily find a coupon for 50 pounds online) and join some groups that are relevant to your business and engage directly with people through them.

The people on Linkedin are much more savvy than your average social media user. So less hype and more value is the way to go.
