Selling a liquid supplement - where do I start?

I would like to sell a liquid supplement (it's a hair/skin/nails beauty 8oz liquid to add to drinks).
I've never sold a supplement before let alone a physical product.
I would like to begin producing this product from home as the manufacturing process is quite simple.
I'm concerned foremost about liability of selling an ingested product.
Can someone recommend information/books/websites to help me through the process? I would greatly appreciate it!

    I would think your very first step would be to consult an attorney. I don't know where you are located but if you are in the U.S., you very well may need to notify the FDA and FTC, as well. Although they do not officially approve supplements, you may need to notify them of the supplement and the ingredients in it before it can be marketed.

    Like I said, this all starts with a lawyer.

    I second for an attourney.

    You're not going to learn much by a book or YouTube video somewhere.

    Your most important factor right now is knowing for a fact this product is safe and not harmful.

    I would also reach out to the FDA or go on their website to seek some answers.

    Another clue would be to network with those who sell supplements..

    I know in the fitness world, Christian Guzman had his own supplement line for an energy drink. See you if you can reach out to him and ask these questions.

    Network and get some insight with those in that market selling those products.

    Attourney first... Do not skip that part.
