Suspended Amazon Account

Amazon has banned my account! Please help! I own and run my own business here on Amazon, but for some reason my seller account has been banned. I have incredibly high ratings with my customers... over 98% satisfaction. I've only had 3 people return items in the past 2 years, and I maintain top quality customer service. I deal with over $90,000 every month, and I've been extremely careful to follow all Amazon's rules and regulations. I pay fees on time, I replace orders when need be, and I have done nothing to violate any of their terms of service.
Then, out of the blue, Amazon shuts down my account! I have scrounged all over my account to see if there was some sort of rule I broke without realizing it, but I can't find a thing I did wrong. All my recent transactions have gone smoothly, more good feedback has come rolling in, but it doesn't seem Amazon has taken any of this into their reasoning.
Has anyone else had this happen to them? I have a lot of money on the line here, and can't exactly just walk away. Please... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Number 1 rule do not rely on a 3rd party to support your business!
Here are a few questions you should answer. A large percentage of people have burned by doing this. Examples lost adwords and adsense accounts. Hub page and Squidoo sites shut down. Facebook accounts banned, etc.

Have you contacted Amazon about this ?

What is the reason they closed your account ?

Where you buying products that are protected by patents and yours are imported from some company in China ?
    Example NFL Jerseys.

No, but I will try now.

Amazon in his letter does not indicate the specific cause of the ban. It's written that my account was suspended due to violation of terms and conditions

      I sell my own products

But Amazon is a lot more convenient and full of customers ready to pay. It's a lot easier than starting from the beginning and building up a reputation. Sure it comes with the risk of not being in control, but I guess it all comes down to deciding between convenience or being in control.

You need to be communicating with Amazon - people on a forum can't solve this for you. They can guess and discuss - but can't help you with this problem.

"Out of the blue" doesn't sound right - which is why you need to be talking TO Amazon. That's the only place you can get accurate answers.

No one here can do anything more than guess - and that does not help your situation.

Communicate with Amazon - remain professional and ask for help to understand what the problem is so you can fix it. Good luck to you.

Yeah, as others have said, Amazon is the only place you will get answers. They don't shut down accounts "out of the blue". They need those accounts to generate money for themselves.

It's almost always a banned product (i.e. trademarked product or outright banned by their policies like an e-cigarette) or a banned method of providing the product (i.e. "dropshippping" from Ebay, Walmart, etc.).

So - there was a reason. Amazon strictly enforces their TOS. Might a competitor have reported you? Just a guess.

No one here can fix this for you. We can't speak for Amazon.

If it were me, I'd be on the phone with Amazon - groveling and convincing them this was an honest mistake and that my acct was WORTH re-instating. I would not be emailing them.

Amen! SO many people seem terrified to speak to another human being these days. Nothing is easier to blow of than an email. The only way you'll get anything quickly accomplished on this (good or bad) is over the phone.

Not sure what your point is - if Amazon closes your acct for TOS violation, how does that comment apply?

I'm guessing it was a response to the first part of DWolfe's post (#2).

I know this thread is from last Sept. but people saying you need to communicate with Amazon and all that jazz, well, yes, but it isn't easy and there is no such thing as calling Amazon on the phone to discuss seller account matters. It's all done through the Amazon system and any efforts to circumvent that system will be a HUGE waste of time and add LOTS of stress to your life you don't need.

In the future, for the OP, and for everything else who reads this thread, Amazon has it's own seller's forum and if you post there that you have been suspended, they will help you go through the process of getting reinstated (if you're not screwed with bad seller metrics [Order Defect Rate over 1%] or just really bad seller behavior otherwise).

The link to the forum is https://sellercentral.amazon.com/forums/
The link is also in your Amazon Seller Central account, but they move the link around all the time...lol

No use in asking for help on suspended accounts anywhere else. That is the only place you should be seeking help on such matters. there is at least one thread a day there about a seller getting suspended and usually it is because of no real fault of the seller to warrant a suspension. But that's Amazon for ya. Amazon treats most sellers as disposable until they reach that magical $50M/quarter gross sales mark.

You need to discuss the things related to Amazon Seller Account with them.

There are many alternative companies who are providing the solution regarding Amazon appeal account and other.
