FB Ad Not Converting
So I finally created my first shopify store. I'm selling kitchen utensils. I thought this would be a good niche to start as it seems easy to find good, flashy, hot products that appeal to lots of people. Also I'd think targeting potential buyers wouldn't be so hard as other niches i considered (fishing gear, sports-related gear).
On the other hand, I'm sure this is one of the most competitive niches out there, so I'm not sure I've made the right choice.
Anyway: my store is up and running, I've installed some recommended apps, I've added products and the design is pretty decent - although there's still lots of things I want to optimize.
I launch my first FB campaign - a video ad for a cool little kitchen utensil I've found. My target audience is: 30+ y/o, male and female, with general interest in cooking related stuff. Geos are US, CA, UK, AU, NZ, NL. I've created 03 ad sets, each with different targeting options (one targeting general cooking stuff, the second one being more specific - targeting brands that are big in the cooking space -, and the last one being even more specific by targeting cooking related media vehicles).
So my ads are apparently doing pretty good, with relevancy scores of 10, 10 and 09, and a CTR of over 10% with over 6k impressions (I know, not that much, but I used a low budget to start with).
But I got 0 sales, and worse than that, not even one person added my product to their shopping cart.
I noticed that pretty much all the traffic I got was mobile.
Do you think the reason I got no sales is because of my product page, or because mobile traffic is generally bad at converting into sales?
Cheers.
