ecommerce Software for Amazon, ebay and Shop

Hello ladies & gentlemen,

I'm currently planning to start an ecommerce business in the U.S. and it is quite difficult to find a proper software to meet my requirements.
First of all, I'm from Germany and I'm working in ecommerce since 2010 so I've always used german software for my work.

Now I'm looking for a software which is capable of:

- synchronizing my eBay and Amazon orders with 1 click and synchronizing the tracking numbers after I've shipped the orders

- adding my new products to both platforms

- printing out my shipment labels easily

- send emails automatically to customers after I've shipped the orders

- handling returns with the software

- being able to be connected to a proper accounting software (needed aswell) so I can send the required information to my accountant without big trouble

- it must be able to provide me with sales statistics etc.

- preferably it is a software which is properly installed on my Computer, the database can be hosted online though so I can access it from every computer I have a software on

- preferably not a system which runs in a browser, I have made quite bad experience with that

- also important is a system which also offers a webshop which is connected to the database so I can also get the orders from the Shop quite easy

- the shop-software should have SEO tools and some marketing tools e.g. google Shopping, Adwords etc.

- it also needs to have a system for the Sales Tax issue, this is very important

I have worked with JTL here in Germany which is a great system but it won't work in the U.S. properly due to the distance between my computer and their servers.

    Pretty much every hosted shopping cart platform can do almost everything on your list, with Shopify being the easiest to implement, probably.

    The two things on your list that definitely will be problems are:

    1) - preferably it is a software which is properly installed on my Computer, the database can be hosted online though so I can access it from every computer I have a software on

    and

    2) - preferably not a system which runs in a browser, I have made quite bad experience with that

    I'm not sure how you will ever be able to access your back end administration without using a browser from anywhere but the computer the software is on. I also hope you have a serious server set up or nobody will be able to access the site without it being severely slow.

    Maybe you have had bad experiences with German companies that host software online, but things are different in the U.S. Most hosted platforms have better than 99% up-time, which I doubt you could replicate using your own server. Perhaps the problem is not the online servers, but it is the poor internet connections and speeds that seem so prevalent in many other parts of the world.

      Right, so I can forget about not working with a browser based software (the software in German is installed on the computer and the database is on a server from the company I have the software from so it is safe and quick).
      Anyway, new country, new proceedings

      Does shopify contain a tool so I can send my selling statistics etc. to my accountant so I can handle my tax returns?
      Does it contain the possibility to use my own shipping services? e.g. I have my own contract with ups, fedex etc. Can it print out my shipment labels automatically?

        Shopify has more apps than any other shopping cart (unless you want to count WordPress/Woo). So yes, yes and yes. Of course, the same can be said for other carts like BigCommerce and 3DCart, as well. Those are pretty basic things.

    Hello,

    I would certainly recommend using prestashop.

    I understand its only only however there is a software (Prestashop manager) which you can purchase which will enable you to run the website through your desktop not a browser, and it has multiple modules to set all the points you mentioned specially taxes and marketing.

    Also there is another module to sync your products from E-bay, amazon with your store.

    Do some quick look up and you will find that prestashop is the perfect. i have used it for years in my online business and the best that you can always do tailoring to fit your needs as you grow more.
