Can Amazon international work for me?

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for taking time to read this. I'm located in Japan and my family inlaws has a cermics/pottery company. Been in business for over 30 years. They have a warehouse full of products. I want to come in and start an International Dept. Pottery isn't the lightest of products, so that is where I will have the hard time. eBay and other sites I can find buyers, but shipping will bring down our profits. So, if I go with Amazon FBA, does anyone know if I can have it shipped to a Japan location and they ship from there or they would ship to an overseas Amazon and distribute from there. I will also be going old school and calling restaurants and hotels about getting accounts.
Any other suggestions on either shipping aspect or old school cold calling?

    Amazon FBA should definitely help you find a warehouse to store it for you. They have a bunch of fulfillment centers in Japan. Once you get in contact with them they should lead you in the right direction. Good Luck.

    As far I know, Amazon FBA can be a great platform for your situation. But I suggest you research well about this before you proceed and seek expert help from the online communities. There are lots of helping minded people as well as many scams. Best of luck

    I made very quick research and found that amazon fba is available in Japan, so you can sell there without any issues. But as someone also said, you can contact directly to amazon support and ask them.

    Amazon has excellent tutorial information. From my experience with then their seller support is very good. I expect that they wil be able to help you get set up to do this.

    Most of the people here I guess are Amazon associates and not Amazon sellers that's why no one is responding. Amazon FBA is available in Japan so contact their support I suggest.
