You need to create a page on Facebook and post your Toys pics on a daily basis with descriptive keywords based description and follow some of the top competitors in your niche and use proper #Hash tags and boost your post if you need urgent traffic but remember always post on the right time now you are confused that what is the right time to post on facebook you can find this watching your competitor's post time and the description and #Hash tags they are using follow the top brands and you will succeed over time.

I think you would get better results using Google Shopping Ads and Shopify together than you would on Facebook IMO.

    Carl Jackson,
No one has given you a detail answer about it yet

I would say it is a complete business and you'll need to learn it from A-Z if you want to get successful in it.
1- You need a store to host your products (Toys in your case)
You can go with shopify or woocommerce in the beginning. Both have their own pros and cons.
Read some of it and you'll get to know which one is right fit for you shopify vs woocommerce - Google Search

2- What is your source of inventory would be the second question. AliExpress ?

3- How much profit you need to add in your products.

4- Then comes the traffic part.
    For Paid Traffic
    Facebook ads, Google Adwords
    or go with
SEO, FB Spamming. Instagram profiles, Craigslist and other methods.

If you won't have grip to any of these steps you can loose your project Better to hire a pro or learn these to get successful in your business venture.

    Hope that helps
    Best Of Luck

Talha Ahmed asked: "What is your source of inventory would be the second question. AliExpress ?"

Are you going to buy them from authorized suppliers? If you are going to buy them from suppliers on Aliexpress you should forget the idea and do some thing legit.

It is illegal to import for sale any big brand products that have not been purchased from authorized sources.

The brand owners often close down the websites or the Amazon/eBay listings of people illegally selling products with their brand.

The result is that all of your hard work , and the money you have spent will be down the drain. But that might be the least of your problems. Because it is illegal, you could attract the attention of law enforcement.

It is also common for brand owners to sue the illegal sellers and the result is usually bankruptcy.

I would recommend first to start a shopify store and display there all the informations about the toys you want to sell, include videos, pictures and features.
Then start sharing them in Social Media by creating profiles in:
    - Facebook (page)
    - Instagram
    - Pinterest
    - Google plus.

Start sharing useful content and engaging content.

Start you facebook ads when your social profiles are all set up with daily posts and starting have some likes organically.
Start your ads with targeting in focus.

    Good Luck!

The hardest part is probably getting the licensing. I really want to do the same thing, but Nintendo won't license me.

Unless you are able to outlay an enormous amount of money for an initial order and can prove that you are well established with a good track record, you will have no hope of getting a license.

The fact that you want to get a license shows that unlike many who are willing to buy fakes, copies, or otherwise illegally obtain brand name products to sell, shows that you are honest.

Even after forking a huge chunk of money or purchase order, you will be having tight profit margins. You could even not survive it.

You have to research more about this. But I think this is not a good way to go if you are doing it legally.

    Hey!

It's pretty easy. Create a facebook page and post your items on there.

Make sure to keep the following in mind
    - clear product photos, showing off the toys in their best angles
    - run a likes campaign, targetting moms with kids of a certain age group. This is crucial because Facebook ads won't benefit you unless you have at least a few thousand likes to your page
    - always share content (it doesn't have to be your own, you can share from buzzfeed, disney, etc) to keep your audience engaged. The higher the engagement, the better your future ads will perform
    - make sure to link the facebook page to an instagram page. Toys are very visual, almost always driven by video, so you need to house it in a platform that is built for it.

Well as a beginner with all answers provided here if you try anything all by yourself, you are going to get results you never expected. This is not to discourage you but to let you see the reality, I have been in this industry for years and i made alot of looses initially before getting hold of my ground and now making profit from it. Ecommerce is a 6-7 figure business but if you don't know what you are doing then you will be very frustrated. My advice is to look for a coach to direct you from the site creation till marketing.

I am disappointed to see how many replies there are from people willing to break the law despite the warnings.
    • The first thing likely to happen is that your goods that you have paid for will be confiscated at Customs.
    • Your name and contact details will be flagged by Customs so that for the rest of your life you will be unable to import anything without your shipments being delayed for careful examination by Customs.
    • Often the importer of contraband will be fined, but sometimes they will serve jail time.
    • Once a brand owner discovers that you are stealing their IP they will shut down your website. There goes your business!
    • Brand owners protect their brands with legal action that most importers could not afford to defend, and many who have tried to get rich by these illegal means will instead finish up bankrupt.
