Have you purchased a tangible product online?

As you know, there are people selling all sorts of goods on Facebook Marketplace - smartphone, laptop, game console, sunglasses, shoes, all sorts of stuff.

Their setup is pretty straightforward - they take picture of a product they sell, upload to the marketplace, put a description, put a price, and provide shipping and payment options which may be cash on delivery, or bank transfer and delivery by courier.

What are your thoughts about these sellers? Have you dealt with a seller on Facebook, Shopee, Amazon, or Lazada? What are your experiences with them?

    I used to be a Shopee seller and now I only shop using Shopee. I am from Singapore, I'm not sure whether is it the same for other countries.

    So far my experience with Shopee, I feel they will side more on buyers than sellers, and they are very smart in marketing and engaging in their platform. For example, they have mini-game like Shopee shake to earn Shopee coins. Sometime there will even run live games with a host interact with us which I didn't see their competitors.

    They created some trends in our country by editing the baby shark song into their song. I think you can search online is on youtube.

    They have these hourly flash sales, or IT fair sales, many different types of sales for the buyers. In fact, in Singapore, our older generation also starts using online shopping app such as Shopee, because it offer much cheaper and discount than in retails shop and directly by the official store which we don't need to worry whether is it fake or not.

    Overall the experience is good, honestly, I do enjoy shopping on Shopee lol

      Filipinos are also all over Shopee, especially if they have those "free shipping" options.

    I have bought from Amazon thousands of times, directly from Amazon and from third party sellers, never any issue. Just once I almost got scammed but I checked the sellers profile and noticed all the negative reviews, odd enough Amazon hadn't taken them out.
    From Facebook Marketplace I have bought plenty too, but I always meet up with the seller someplace close to both of us and pay upon delivery.

    I have purchased products from seller on Facebook, Lazada and Amazon. At first try I am quite hesitant to buy especially when it comes to gadgets because they might not work properly and returning them take a long time to process.

    But, luckily for me I haven't still experience those.I have purchased products from seller on Facebook, Lazada and Amazon.
