Selling (online) to people in Lebanon

Hello everyone, I am a very new e-commerce business and have been learning FB ads in the process. I currently have a Shopify store and a FB page that is getting quite a bit of engagement from Lebanon. I have now had 3 customers ask for CoD (Cash on Delivery) option. I have no problem taking on this risk, but I have found it near impossible to find someone who can actually fulfill this for me.

I am wondering if this is worth it to continue to advertise to people in Lebanon. Or if anyone knows a way to make it easier for people from Lebanon to somehow pay me. They seem geniunely interested in purchasing my product, but I guess they don't really use Visa out there or something.

Dude you should start in a big city and deliver and do confirmation calls by yourself, then when getting more sales you should start engaging other people to do that with a percentage. If you're not living in there don't start COD in a country where you don't live when you're a beginner it's too hard to start with.

How can I begin doing "confirmation calls"? I am willing to do anything to make this work. I am targeting the rest of e-packet countries, but so far ads have only been up for 3 days doing $10/day. I really believe in my product, but the price is quite high at $199.

You're not living in Lebanon? If so don't start by CODing there! Cod or Dropshipping you have to chose your camp don't do both at the same time those don't have the same approach at all!!! If you wanna do cod then learn about cod it's not like dropshipping, 200$ is totally ok for cod products in europe but lebanon I have no idea what are people buying there, but I don't know many people selling there either so there must be an opportunity...

ds have only been up for 3 days doing $10/day.
...and you are not in Lebanon?

3 days? Did you 'target' buyers in Lebanon- or did you mistarget your ads perhaps? I would not think Lebanon is in the list of country you mention as your target audience.

Did you do any research into online shopping for Lebanese customers? Requests for C.O.D. or for 'western union', etc are not unusual in many countries - and are often scams. I advise sticking to your initial plan for targeted customers and don't make exceptions for payment methods.

In the US it can be an indicator of a scam. Not always - but if you have 3 days of ads - and 3 people from one untargeted area requesting a special payment system....I'd check that red flag before changing my payment methods.
