It has been a hobby of mine for the past few weeks to open every ad on FB that to me is obviously a dropship site on Shopify. I am thinking of dipping my toes into the biz, but I want to educate myself by seeing how others do it. I have to admit, I have seen absolute garbage ecom sites out there that make me question how they are making any money. I obviously see that they have 97k shares, 4k comments, etc, etc, but when I go to the website, I see poor quality design, flat out lies, default options that haven't been changed on Shopify, links that go nowhere, spelling errors, etc. I can't determine if the people running these sites are just lazy or if they don't know what they are doing. Today I saw a site with an about us and return policy page that had another dropship site name in there instead of their own. (I guess they forgot to change it!) I can tell some of these are foreign (not based in the USA), and I can tell some of the ads I click on for different sites are being run by the same person when I see identical wording for different products. My point is, how is this hurting the legitimate dropshippers who put actual effort into their sites and are trying to be legit? What are some of the things you have seen? Thanks!
