Hi all! I'm new to this forum and really intend to create a good relationship with you all!

I have been dropshipping for the last two years and am now opening a skincare niche store. I figured I would start by talking with you guys about my current issue which is HUGE for a dropshipping store.

So I already know what products I want but what I was wondering is: How do you guys regularly find your suppliers? Are there any special directories you guys use?
Thanks guys

We get on the phone and ask the actual brands if they will dropship for us. If not, we ask them if they can let us know who their distributors or large buyers are and we contact them.

Please Note: I said to call them on the phone. If you email them, your email will almost always be ignored and deleted.

Alibaba is a great source of suppliers, but it's highly competitive. You can find many many companies on there that can probably do what you want. They can create the products for you or you can use products already available.

Many dropshippers use Alibaba. The only thing to watch out for is minimum order quantity. It's usually quite high. However, you can develop relationships with the vendors and negotiate lower order quantities or cost per unit etc. Many of the vendors are very familiar with the dropshipping business model and can help you sort everything out.

I'm not sure how your business is set up. Are you using Amazon? If so, you can ship your Alibaba products to an Amazon warehouse to store them. Once there, you can market the products and your delivery time will be the same as any other Amazon product.
