Traffic strategy (plan) for my e-commerce site.

Hello
I am a hobbyist 3D printing and painting guy, I also plan on selling lamps of my design and handmade from local makers, because handmade is very cheap in the country I live and I can cash in big on that.
I have a woocommerce website(link not permitted), but the problem is - there's no traffic, and all traffic comes from me directly posting on facebook interest groups. Sure I get some sales there, but I need automation.
What I really need is a growth strategy, of how to build traffic every day, the actions necessary, and really a sound plan for growing my website to get automated sales.
Can anyone help me with that?

Either you go the very long route, building links and a content marketing strategy or you go the short rout and advertise (preferably, both).

Etsy is the perfect platform for marketing handmade products and I would definitely put it at the top of my ads list.

    Thank you
I knew of Etsy, in fact I had a shop on Etsy before Christmas, but they charge crazy fees.
Did you mean advertise on Etsy for my own website or sell on Etsy?
I meant what would be the long route, I really need a good plan, like how to do it, I'm a newbie in this area.
Like for instance, I know Instagram is a good platform, but how would I go about it? What is the right consecutivity of actions?

I kinda already know the answer to this... BUT were you making sales on Etsy? I know you were because you are complaining about the fees.

I would suggest that the "Fees" on any platform IE Etsy or eBay or Amazon should be directly related to the expense of traffic. THIS is the draw to listing on such sites, you DO NOT have to spend time, effort, or Money to create traffic, because it already exists.

The Biggest question is can you run an ad for the amount equal to the fees of selling one item and sell 1 item from that ad?

As an example the fees from Etsy were say $10 for the sale of one figurine. Can you go over to say Facebook and create and run an ad with a $10 overall budget and create a sale?

I am going to be blunt with an answer here... if you have never run an ad before the answer is NO, you will not generate a sale, not on day 1 with $10, or day 2, or day 3. On this very Forum the exact same scenario plays out time and again.. how do I get my ad to convert?

I have No issues with you "Learning" how to run an ad campaign, but I suggest Listing your items back on Etsy where they were selling to create the cash flow to pay for the expense of learning how to run ads.
