Does anyone run a succcessful t-shirt site?

I would like to start an online t-shirt company. I have about 20 designs. I have already researched and found 2 product fulfillment companies (leaning towards Printful). However, none of them offer phone-based customer service. I was hoping someone who is currently doing this could run through a few things with me. Here are some questions I have:

1) What should I look out for when choosing a fulfillment company that might not be obvious from customer review?

2) What has been your experience with Facebook Ads vs Google Ads vs Instagram ads as far as conversion rates go?

3) Are you dealing with out-of-state sales tax?

Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions!

I run a rugs site 'Rugknots' and being a copywriter I create catchy phrases and slogans for t-shirts on the online marketplaces.

    Thanks

@Naheed, thank you so much. I have now officially launched RetroFanShirts, it's actually all based on original designs for the Howard Stern Show! I was wondering if you could let me know what you think of the site (specifically the mobile layout).

I am currently running both Facebook ads and Google ads and I haven't gotten a single sale. Since inception, I have updated the shirt descriptions, added PayPal as a payment option (initially I only offered Wix payments).

The site is has only been up for 12 days, resulting in 121 clicks from the ads and zero sales. I try to keep it in perspective that it is a TINY sample size, but I would have expected at least a few orders from 121 people who see my ads and visit the site. I have also had 7 "abandoned carts".

Any input, suggestions, etc would be SOOO greatly appreciated.

All online sellers should be aware that abandoned carts can be a symptom of lack of clarity re postage costs. Consumers aren't always provided with delivery options and prices until they get to checkout, and sometimes it's just easier to add an item to your cart rather than looking for the info - if it's stated that postage will be calculated at checkout that puts me off if I have a choice elsewhere. It's part of the purchase price and cost needs to be immediately available. If I have to provide address details before I know the cost I probably won't bother unless I really need the item from that seller.

I paid $5 to Warrior Forum and all I got was this lousy signature

Thank you Oscar, all the shirts on the site are $25 and purchasing 2 or more will get you free shipping. That is stated clearly at the top of the site. A single shirt is 3.99 flat shipping anywhere in the U.S., but that is not stated anywhere. It is listed when you checkout. Would you change that? If so, how? Thanks so much!

When Amazon and Flipkart are high on their e-commerce business there are many startups and new companies that are creating an impact on customers with their service and quality of the website. One of the sites that sell t-shirt is bewakoof com. It is a well and successful website that is selling t-shirts all around India. You have to be legally ready to sell on amazon and Flipkart they accept the orders by the seller but you should adhere to their terms and conditions.

1- Good apparel quality and a crazy fast shipping rate. Printful is good but it's a bit expensive.

2- We use all of the 3

3- It depends on whe're you're located and many other aspects. I'll suggest cheking with an expert, since most people here don't even have a legal business for their stores.
