Dropshipping from Walmart - Orders being cancelled

Hi everyone,

I have been successfully dropshipping items from Walmart (purchasing from WM and sending to my customers) using Walmart+ for the past few months.

Mid-way through yesterday my orders started getting cancelled, which is weird since it was working perfectly for months before. I have called several times and they said it's a item quantity limit placed on my account, which makes sense.

But even when I buy items I've never purchased before (and send to my address with the same billing address) items get cancelled immediately.

Anyone that dropship from Walmart have this issue and how do you get past it? Anyone here run multiple Walmart buying accounts that can share any tips?

WM is pretty clear but don't know when this limitation was added....

Because our items are already at everyday low prices, we don't offer discount bulk purchases and we reserve the right to prohibit sales to dealers or resellers. ... Walmart.com also reserves the right to limit the quantity of items purchased per person, per household, or per order.

The bold is what was on the WM site, I didn't add it.

Sounds like they are covering it pretty closely as it goes on to say...

These restrictions may apply to orders placed by the same Walmart account; using the same credit card, gift card, and/or checking account; and orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address.

That last quote seems like they might limit all purchases on a particular acct.... and on accts using any of the same information as well. Will be interesting to see if any other members here have run into it.

    Bummer.

Hmm, so it does sound like they limit the entire account if they want. Have you had experience creating new Walmart accts?

Why not go directly to the source(s)?

WM does not have a lock on manufacturers; you do have options, excercise them.

No, and it's not something I would do. You would need totally different details.....and since WM appears to be enforcing this now, a new acct would probalby be limited before long.

That's just me - I wouldn't think it worth the effort - but others here may disagree.

I am looking at dropshipping and in my research, I heard that Walmart+ is clamping down on dropshippers (kind of an easy footprint to find). They implied that regular Walmart accounts are doing OK.... As I said I have no first-hand experience.

Walmart wants you to be a affiliate and earn pennies per dollar per their terms. They do not want you making more money reselling their items.

Very true .... it regards not only WM
Fortunately Aliexpress makes them a competition ,they does not induce such problems to their clients .... you can sell as much as you want.
