Changing Ecommerce Platform and need to do re-directs? How?

My company is moving away from one platform to another. We ALSO are changing domains. We are undergoing a re-branding process. My domain is hosted with Godaddy. The new platform will be Big Commerce. The old domain will have a 1 page website added to talk about the changes. All other links that pointed to the old domain need to point to the same products on the new domain.

Old domain: www.myolddomain.com/product1 goes to www.mynewdomain.com/product1

I can do this within the old ecommerce platform but I do not want to keep paying a lot of money each month just to do re-directs.

    Hm.... That's a tough one and I wish I had a hack for you but unfortunately, the only thing I can think of would be to just have the GoDaddy hosting redirect which honestly shouldn't cost you more than 1 yearly fee. I don't think there's a free way around this.
