Should I make a new social media page or use the old one?

Hello,
I am starting a new brand to sell products online.
I have an old page that I created back in 2020 or 21.
The old page has around 1,600 followers, and I haven't made any post in the last 3 years. The page has been dead for all this period.
The audience of this page is completely differently from my target audience.
Should I use the old page because it has followers to show credibility?
Or should I use create a new facebook page with 0 followers and work on it?

I will also be working on social media ads.

Well when you move to a new niche its always better to start from scratch with another platform ,blog etc
Lets supose you create content on autovehicles and people are super excited then you decide to to create content on cooking recipes as an example

The people will be angry and leave your platform as they needs doesnt fit with your content

Not only you confuse people but you also confuse search engines as their crawlers register your first content ,if you start to create new content then it will derank you
    Signature
Find out my best method to make $200-$300 daily with affiliate marketing
Atention : Not a quick rich scheme ,takes patience, consistency and some work also

yeah sure I also started mine from scratch it wasn't that hard for me thou cause i got support from someone and mind you, you have to apply what is called "social media marketing " that's all what I can tell cause am not an ecommerce expert but it really works you can enable direct purchases and build trust through that.

    thanks!!

    Do BOTH!

Resurrect the old page with whatever you had going there.

And start a new page for the new products.

One of them will likely succeed if the other one doesn't.

Although you could get lucky and have two successes.

In the future, when deciding on niche/industry, try to choose
something that has related topics you can tie together.

For example healthy living, dietary supplements, and yoga.

That way you can cross-promote your websites, books, etc.

Maybe you should keep that page and update it with fresh content being that you already have a trained audience.

What I would do is drive traffic and see how best I can accommodate my old audience whilst building a following with my new audience.

Your old audience has needs to .You have to engage and get feedback from your old and new audience so it can a be a win win situation for all of you .

So no don't start a new fan page .
