As we continue to grow our online store <<Link removed by moderator>>, we've encountered an issue with spammy backlinks that are affecting our site's performance and SEO. It's been a challenge trying to figure out the best way to remove or disavow these unwanted links. Does anyone have any tips or strategies that worked for them? We're looking to clean up our backlink profile and ensure our site maintains its credibility. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Feel free to share your experiences or any tools you've found helpful in tackling this issue.

  • Hi,
You can refer any security plugins, some of them seem good to avoid about 90% spam sources

Spammy backlinks are common and usually ignored by Google unless you have a manual action in Search Console. First check if there's an actual penalty if not dont overreact. Export your links identify clearly toxic domains (link farms, auto-generated junk)and disavow them at the domain level instead of wasting time contacting spam sites. Most importantly keep building strong, relevant backlinks good links outweigh bad ones over time.
