Hi there, it really depends what kind of dropshipping business you wish to go into, for every Great dropshipper there are a 100 bad ones out for a quick buck so make sure you find the best dropshipper for your business. But unless you look at it as a full time job the profits involved are not really enough to keep you for the month.

As long as you stick to this one method until you become an expert through experience you will be successful with it.

This depends so much on the market. I made some good money using a dropshipper for a pellet gun site I once owned. I was able to mark up the dealer price they gave me to a healthy profit margin without pricing myself out of the market. That's probably the main issue. But then you have to worry about returns/refunds and you're at the mercy of the supplier in terms of their customer service.

If you have a thick skin and can handle a few bad experiences, try it. Just go into it with eyes wide open.... it can be a bit rough-and-tumble unless you hook up with a great supplier. Test several options if you can find them.

I recently talked to a rather successful woman in the e-Commerce industry and when I brought up dropshipping she told me that it is extremely hard these days. With all the amazon affiliates advertising everywhere, the middle man has been greatly reduced. On top of that if you do decide to go the dropshipping route, profit margins could get fairly minimal.

Alot of dropshipper's prices are higher than what they are at Walmart. Choose a good one, and dont get cheated when paying for shipping from your dropshippers.

    its a very difficult business.

most challenging part is what to sell (that would make money).

next challenging part is find the right dropseller with terms that would fit your business.

If you have found that dropshipping is "the most reliable and honest way to make money on line," then why are you looking for wso's to "learn more about the dropshipping businesses?"

I have done both dropshipping in the past, and like any other business model, it has its advantages and disadvantages. Not sure if it's such a lucrative way to go these days with Amazon dominating so much of the landscape, but when I did it, I made a significant amount of money.

It is a lot of work though, just as any legit business model, and you should be prepared to deal with customers directly, and all that goes with it - both good and bad. I got tired of dealing directly with whining customers, handling returns, dealing with petty complaints and all that, so after a couple of years I went the affiliate and adsense direction and never looked back.

Dropshipping may work for you as it has for many others, and I would say "go for it" if that's what you want to do. But making a statement that "dropshipping is the most reliable and honest way to make money online" is certainly naive and perhaps a bit unrealistic in my opinion.

"Drop Shipping for Dummies by Jeremy Hanks" is good source to lean all about drop shipping business.

The content is quite comprehensive. It covers how to find your niche for profit, how to set-up the online shop, how to find the manufacture, until how to improve your customer service. The contents in the books are really from A-Z.

This is a good book if you are just getting started in Drop Shipping business.
