Hi guys,


Im writing you because I need your suggestion: I own an ecommerce store, electronics, 100% drop shipping.

I would like to know which new strategy would you suggest in order to increase the sales....

We started with:
Video Ads (youtube,dailymotion,etc)
SEO
Blog
Press Release
Forum Posting

    Hey Mark,

    I would recommend you have a look at shopping comparison websites. May be getting your inventory over there will give you that extra exposure and sales. Also you may want to explore other big market places like Amazon (using their FBA program if that suits your business model) for more sales and brand building.

    All the methods you have mentioned in your post (especially video promotions) would go a long way in exposing your offers to potential customers and every bit of that helps. So get yourself a promotional plan and start implementing.

    I would go for PPC especially Adwords Display Network (the banner ads). It will give you traffic and sales in very short time.

    PPC is the best friend of ecommerce website. With PPC, you can scale up your ecommerce business in no time.

    PPC...one of my friends who used to own discount electronics bricks and mortar shop and also had internet presence said that ppc is the way to go. He got out of business though because he found better opportunity and progressively ppc prices were going up.

    I personally would sell on eBay at a higher price. this would get traffic to my main website and get sales from my main website and avoid eBay fees . eBay has a ton of traffic so you'll get a ton of visitors from your website. a little trick you learned from me

    4K monthly shouldn't be that tough. Just make sure you have all the sources you need
    to make it happen. Will you have inventory? or Dropshipping?....

    (I would suggest putting a large budget aside on marketing)
    OR use ebay to start off.

    For starters try free ecommerce listing sites. Google product search will bring in tons of traffic, you could use the find, kaboodle, consider pinterest to link to. Find some advertising credits for more paid search campaigns and see how they might work out for you.

    PPC is very dangerous for electronic products given the very high bids and the very low profit margins involved. You will have to do your research carefully before going down this route.
