I came across GogaZon.com: Find Online Discounts Today... it's a cool looking amazon eCommerce site. I saw it has a message in the footer that it's for sale and is taking bids. What Do you think? It looks like it has it's SEO work good enough to rank in Google...

The site sucks. All it does is pull in Amazon info. What value would a user find in such a site?

Also, if the site has good SEO, it would already be ranking.

Agreed. Wouldn't interest me in the slightest.

You know the site "thisiswhyimbroke" ...basically all they do is pull products from amazon and etsy. They get about 130k uniques a month... so let's not trash the business model too much.

What makes thisiswhyimbroke unique is that it's focus appears to be unique items, primarily. It's a gimmick site, which seems to work. The other site in this thread is nothing but a scraper site.

      Seriously, stop already.

Scraper sites offer absolutely no value to anyone. And then I have to listen to people crying and whining about how "unfair" the mean Google is when such sites are de-indexed or lose their rankings.

I had an Amazon store that automatically pulled in products based on keywords from Amazon... a couple of them to be exactly. They were ranking until the Panda and Penguin updates hit and then ...nowhere to be found. I deleted them.

The SEO sellers will probably dispute it, but you're not going to get anywhere with scraper sites.
