Multiple Suppliers Question

Hi guys,

Just wondering if there is an elegant solution to using multiple suppliers/manufacturers for dropshipping a niche product. For example, I am selling hats.

If a customer orders 'Hat A' and 'Hat B' and each one comes from a different supplier, doesn't it look really sloppy if they arrive in separate packages, from different locations, at different times?

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks

Customers don't care as long as they get what they pay for.

I've been doing this for seven years and I have some sites where a customer will place an order and receive 3 or even 4 separate shipments.

It is important however to let you customer know that they will receive separate shipments or else things will get sloppy and customers will become upset.

If customer orders "hat a" and "hat b" send them their tracking information for "hat a" as soon as it becomes available. Tell them "hat b" will be shipping shortly and you will provide them will tracking information as soon as it becomes available and then be sure to follow up with it.

That's what I do and no one has ever complained. Customers just want to be informed.

Been doing this for years,, no one cares unless of course they only get part of their order

Same as above comments. I've never had a problem if you let them know. Just say it's shipping from a different warehouse, which it is.

I agree, customers don't care as long as they get what they pay for.

    I've never had any problem.

You can tell them it's shipping from a different warehouse, that will even make you look like a big company.
