Do you mean for Wordpress? If so, I use WooCommerce. As far as payment goes, it depends on what kind of payments you want to accept. Paypal is built in to WooCommerce, but they have an extension available for just about every time of payment imaginable. There are a ton of great extensions.

      Hi,
I apologize if I unearthed this thread, but I need to create a shop with dropshippers and I was interested in this solution because I already use wordpress.com as a blog

Is anyone here who has already tried it and can tell me how it works?
Can the dropshippers on my website manage their products?

Once you buy the theme and extensions, there are no monthly costs as there are in some of the other ecommerce solutions, and some of those monthly costs are quite large.

Easy to set up and get up and running. With the right extensions, has all of the features that any ecommerce solution has.

Great not only for dropshipping, but digital products and physical products in general.

Thanks. Sounds like Woocommerce is a great e-commerce theme in general.

But are there any features that Woocommerce has that makes it better specifically for drop shipping? Or not really?

There are no features really of any ecommerce solution that are specific to dropshipping. Dropshipping isn't any different than any other way to sell physical products. You need to build relationships with wholesalers to get the products you want to sell.

Are you sure? When looking into shopping carts I read that BigCommerce was lacking when it came to dropshipping and an external solution was needed. So there must be SOME aspects that involve dropshipping specifically -- right?

My suggestion is to try some of them out for youself. This is the only way you will see which is best for your needs.

Some offer free trials; some don't

But if you really want to make money in ecommerce, you'll must be willing to test, invest, research and work.

No one has the definitive answer for you.

It took me two years to find platforms that work of me.

Much of the advice I received was erroneous, or was given by those who were trying to sell a product.

Do you remember what BigCommerce was supposed to be lacking? Just curious because I have a store on BigCommerce and its fine for drop shipping.

Not exactly... but I found THIS on the BigCommerce website:

"Do you have a BigCommerce store and need to drop ship products? We would like to recommend a third party service that provides a drop shipping solution for BigCommerce store owners."

The third party solution is something called Ordoro.

Don't know what it would be unless someone has developed an extension that automatically sends the order to the wholesaler, pays for it and submits the customer's info ...

Other than that, there is nothing special about a dropshipping site that makes it different from any other ecommerce site. I have 3 of them.

Woocommerce is the way to go, I use it on full-on ecommerce sites generating lots of sales and also on affiliate websites (similar to dropship websites) and the product is, in my opinion, the BEST WORDPRESS ECOMMERCE PLATFORM AVAILABLE

How do you use it on affiliate sites? Items can't be put into a shopping cart, so what do you do?

What tools are needed other than Woocommerce? I'd really like to try this.

The best plugins? For Wordpress? It's best not to use wordpress if you're going to have a large online store. Stick to magento or another eCommerce script.

      Hi Nick,

Why do you say not use Wordpress, I have a couple of online stores using WP and WOOCOMMERCE and also so do clients of mine, doing lots of online business with no issues, I would be interested in hearing your opinion.

      THanks

That seems to be the standard line. I have four WooCommerce sites with thousands of products, merchant account, all the beeps and whistles of Magento or Big Commerce without all the monthly fees, but keep reading that advice over and over. I don't find any limitations with WooCommerce and the extensions that are available make it a comprehensive store solution.

          Hi,

sorry, but how do you import all the dropshipper products in your wordpress theme?
Do it manually by the hand, or does an plugin exists who do that?
With csv lists in most time you must formatted yourself a dropshipper csv file,so that you can import the products,it is hard work to do.

I think woocommerce is great for any type of online store, especially for beginners... Every web store solution paid or free has its own pros and cons so it is up to you to find the best platform that will suite your needs.

Try woocommerce first, it is good for dropshipping as for any other products, digital or phisical.

Create Online Store with WooCommerce is really easy. The administrator’s dashboard is completely integrated with WordPress, making it unbelievably easy for experienced users to manage and modify their stores. The front-end is equally as beautiful, with hundreds of themes available ranging from cute children’s stores to dark and rugged adventure sports templates.

I would love to have an ecommerce dropshipping website based on WP/woo.
That is I want to display products from some Chinese online stores that support dropshipping, but I dont want to do this manually. I want something that can pull (desired) products from the site/sites that I want to work with (Not necessarily all their products).

I'm brand spanking new to the world of dropshipping. So what are the best plugins for dropshippers?
Hey guys, I run two Woocommerce dropship sites. I couldn't find any dropship plugins that did exactly what I needed so I developed my own. I've now built a site to sell the plugin: Woocommerce Dropship Plugins

There's two versions of Dropship Manger. One is the "light" version which will email your dropship supplier with a plain text message of what product needs to ship.

The other version is the "pro" version which will email your dropship partner a PDF with your logo on it and can be used as a packingslip so that they can blindship your order. The pro version also has an inventory management feature where you can upload a CSV and set the in-stock status on all your products at once. This is useful when your dropship supplier sends you a weekly spreadsheet containing their inventory on hand.

This plugin may be what you're looking for

I want something that can pull (desired) products from the site/sites that I want to work with (Not necessarily all their products).
As far as pulling in data to set up your store, I use the Woocommerce CSV Import Plugin that WooThemes sells. This is a great plugin for sucking in a ton of data and getting set up.

    This has been my combination.
So far already make around $1,500 USD in sales for my store and few friends.
    1. WooCommerce (FREE)
    2. StoreFront Theme (FREE)
    3. Yoast SEO, to help boost my products page SEO (FREE)
    4. A WooCommerce Drop shipping plugin, DROPSHIX (FREE for 15 items).

Now the most interesting thing from #4 is, it's a WooCommerce drop shipping plugin that can import products from both AliExpress and Amazon. With the price and stock monitor available for the FREE package. I believe this is the first tool I've seen in the WordPress plugin repository.

From the information I heard, they're about to launch a package with even more interesting features. Which will allow you to run your WooCommerce drop shipping website in autopilot mode. I mean they will like take care everything and make sure it's easier for you to start a drop shipping business using Wordpress + Woocommerce.
