    Hi aby2maria,

    Take a look at the profile of the person who sold that site. She has done 6.6k over 53 transactions. Not only does she have a great reputation as a reliable seller she has probably fine tuned the whole process from what type of site to sell and how to write the listing copy.

    You didn't link to your listing and I couldn't find it in the 'just sold' section but if you are new at this you can't expect the same results as someone who has been at this game for a while. I have experienced this myself too. I setup and sold an ecommerce site on Flippa (not operational, just set it up and added some products) that would normally sell to clients for $500+ and it went for like $150 or something. I'm awesome at making and running ecommerce stores but I'm not a professional website flippa. If you do want to be then you will need to learn yourself.

    My recommendation would be to mimic some parts of what the other seller is doing and put your own spin on it. You could even try reaching out and asking for some information or tips.

    Hope that helps!

    As I said I'm not a pro flippa but IMHO a great theme will definitely help. Just make sure you look through what the other seller does with their sites, mimic their strategies and try to improve on it by offering more value.

    Best of luck!

    your site was all over the place with fitness products, on the front page there was a waist trimmer belt, a jillian michaels fitness DVD, and a body fat analysis tool. The other site however was exotic swimwear, it had a bikini, a bikini and another bikini. It was niche specific therefore marketable

    Hey aby2maria,

    Have you considered finding any Groups that focus on Flipping websites and getting advice from these? I think a lot can still be done with the website as both sites and listing are different. The reputation is a big thing, however I still think that the 1 day listing was not a good run, within 5 days I have heard is good anything such as 1-2 days or over 5 days is too much, that being for a website not generating any income.

    The theme should be spruced up a bit and as Troyco mentioned I do think that it's a bit all over the place. If possible I would suggest having a slideshow JS with attractive banners and selling the idea with "hot categories" "top products" etc... Just think it needs to be ironed out from a customer perspective.

    Hope the next run does much better for you!

    The other seller too got some low price just a month ago: https://flippa.com/2854182-surfing-g...che-no-reserve

    Some sites will make $200+, some sites will be less than $100. You should look at the average.

    Hi Aby2Maria,

    I am also a seller on Flippa and sold for almost $20K in the last 4 months (only 8 brand new sites). I found out that there are 4 important things you need if you want to sell your site at an interesting price:

    1) Have a nice design (a good design is always attracting bidders);

    2) If you can generate couple of sales, it will add a lot of value to your site;

    3) Write a nice listing description. You need to be honest, transparent (I usually give my skype / email address) and show to potential buyers why your site would be great for them. They need to picture themselves making money with it.

    4) Make sure that your listing will end on Sunday evening (more buyers during the weekend)

    Hope it will help you

      I think no 3 and 4 are very important. The no of sales is also helping. I believe the listing should also clearly mention how you generated the income and that you will share the strategy if any ...

    I think Pavv above has hit the nail on the head or something like that. I think success at Flippa is more to do with reputation than what your site really looks like. Although all these things blend together to give you a nice hefty sale - reputation, good design, themed site, etc. It will be more difficult for a new to sell a nice looking site than a successful veteran with good reputation selling a less compelling site (compared to the newbie one).

    I had some listings there at Flippa one time I was selling 1 site and could get up to $20 then i bundled them, sold 5 for 1 got a $50 sale ( a loss) but wanted to build reputation, i sold another set (1 for 5) got $70, then another (1 for 3 ) got $70 now I have listed just 1 site max price is $100. So I will see.

    Also for every successful sale ask for testimonial and be very helpful to the buyer.... I thought I should share!
