Payment through Android. Security?

I'm about to open an online store, and in my hometown, sell to some brick and mortar operations that have shown interest in carrying my product. I think it would be more convenient to have people pay with the swipe of a card over my phone upon delivery of merchandise. At this point, at least 11 businesses have shown interest, so I think that could result in a repeat list of buyers, and potentially more. To finally get to my question: when I'm dealing with credit cards over a cell phone, is there an encryption program I can purchase for this phone? I've read that to use any Android wide-open is a security mistake, and a potential nightmare. Or is there another phone which is more secure when using this payment method? I'm open to any suggestions.

Thanks, again for the tips to come.

    Hello,

It comes down to three important things :

    1. Hardening your mobile device
    2. Choosing a good service provider for mobile payments (ex.: Paypal mobile)
    3. Adopting good security practices. (Ex.: if you charge credit cards using a mobile device, it doesn't necessarily mean that you should store credit card data on the device).

    good luck
