Drop Shipping/Tracking Numbers

Question--I have an overseas supplier, and their products take about 10 days for them to reach my customer. I know its great to always have tracking numbers available to the customers---but I am not sure I really need my customers to know products are coming from China. For those that drop ship from overseas, how many of you actually add the tracking number automatially when fullfilling your item--so your customer receives it?. Or do you wait for the customer to ask for the tracking--which I would say 15% do, as it gets closer to the 10th date. I am adding to all my product descriptions with my overseas items, that these take 10 day for delivery--to decrease the amount of "where is my item" emails.

    If you are using eBay or PayPal then I recommend adding tracking numbers.

    Many people make "fake tracking" when they dropship items, especially clothing. They say an item is "En Route" from Paris, France 3 days after purchase, and then 2 days later say "Dispatched from JFK Airport, New York" or something. A couple days after that, they actually receive the parcel but I have no idea how these customers respond to seeing Chinese characters on their package.
