My web developer is asking for my Clickbank ID as well as password... is my password needed to integrate my site with Clickbank? That seems odd to me because I did not need to give him my Paypal password. Thank you.

If you want your developer to set the product for you at Clickbank then, yes they will need your password.

You can always change your password when your developer has completed the work for you.

The only option you have if you don't want to give them your password, is to set the product up yourself.

If you don't want to share your actual password, you can use lastpass.com and this will allow you to share them, either continually or as a one-time use, and revoke the share when you're done.

He doesn't need your password, you can create any encoded hoplinks for him, or you could set up a new clickbank account just for him to do his work, and you could change the password when he's done.

Also, check with clickbank regarding giving him limited access https://support.clickbank.com/entrie...master-account

...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.
