I am agreed with you! We actually don't need to make a store looking like Amazon. Amazon has millions of products, people trust it by its popularity, service. Its not popular for its theme. I would also suggest you to create a Professional looking Store with micro niche. Before jumping for Online store, you must have a basic knowledge of PPC (Pay Per Click) marketing. Because, its the only way to get your store running by sales faster.

Moreover, most of the cloned scripts are created by the coders copying the front-end of Amazon store. The scripts are full of bugs. You will need to stick with the script providers updated to fix the bug that is really horrible. The other day I was sitting with an affiliate who has build multiple stores that link back to Amazon. He is just an affiliate in multiple countries for Amazon.

I was amazed at the way he had built his sites. Each site was a particular niche. And in that niche he was promoting about 100 to 500 products within that niche.

Like one site was related to Mobile Phones. And his site was updated with the Latest Mobile Phones across Amazon with the best prices.

I asked him,"How could he keep this updated?"
