E-commerce, where to find product

Where is a good place to find product. Would it be easier to do drop shipping with a company or would something like affiliate be a better approach to a low cost start-up?

Also im fairly new to all of this but i am looking to learn. Are there any books out there about creating online businesses?

    We prefer to work with dropshippers since the margins are typically much better than they are with the affiliate model.

    Typically you are best off working with manufacturers and distributors directly. Either that, or with factories in Asia that are willing to dropship worldwide. This sounds intimidating, but if you know how to approach them it's actually pretty simple.

    Dropshipping is usually no problem to start with and profit is much higher. Books are usually obsolete at the moment of printing, online forums are much better.

    Drop shipping lets you get the cheaper price of products especially if wholesale. It's also better to work with manufacturers. With regards to books, there are many e-books that can provide you with useful info starting from the basics. You can also find valuable info free through searching online.
