Fulfillment by amazon, isn't it a concept of ordinary dropshipping?
That means, though I am not a existing seller with some commudities sold on amazon or other online site, is it possible that I be a member of FBA?

I got the notion of FBA like above but it isn't likely to be that.
DoI have to be a seller that is selling something to register on FBA?

Amazon FBA is only for people selling a physical products they actually have in their possession.

Say I produce and sell widgets, but don't want to store them or process orders.

I can send all my widgets to Amazon and sell them on Amazon website and other places. Amazon then fulfills the orders using MY inventory and ships out to my customers using my information.

It is NOT drop shipping because I actually own the physical inventory.

Plus Amazon takes a 30-40% cut, from what I've been told....just what I've been told.

Amazon takes from a small percentage (for lower margin categories) up to 15-20% (I believe) for SELLING on Amazon. Which can be done separate from, or along with, FBA. The FBA fees are actually quite reasonable especially since they include shipping.
