How do you get traffic of buyers to your webstore? I get a lot of people who are just looking around at my products, but no one buys anything.

Maybe your webstore requires some changes like providing more detailed information on the products, etc. You should also try to look for target audience who might be interested in your products.

Are you building a list, or trying to sell "off the page"?

Traffic is one thing, convert your visitors into buyers is another thing. Maybe you have to change the way your webpage is presented. Your niche will also have an impact on your sales.

Is your main subject is clear ? Something I regularly is to try to describe the product I'm trying to sell one or two short sentences. If I don't succeed, visitors don't clearly understand what I am trying to sell. Everything must be clear, any questions or interpretations.

Where is this traffic coming from? The traffic needs to be targeted. If the customer is not going in looking for a product that you offer they won't buy. Try to get ranked for a few keywords that relates to your store, this will get your more targeted traffic which will equal to more sales.

If you have the money, PPC traffic is good. I work for a businessman that uses it, however, sometimes he's paying $10 a click, but the customers are coming. I just could never afford to do it....

Well, I don't want to say never, I just can't afford it right now. It would be nice if a $10 click meant nothing to me. Something to shoot for.

    Are you getting targeted visitors?

If yes then your conversion most probably sucks.. Try to add some urgency something like a one time offer, discount only available today. Buy one get one free etc

    Cheers,

Well where I have my online store gets hits from people on the site who actually see my products. It's bonanza. I get so many people who are on there looking at things. I know they must be from there because I don't do much advertising yet.
