Does Open Source Ebay / Auction Scripts Are Good?

Hi All,
I am about to search for the auction scripts.

I did not want to make site exactly like ebay. i need change but mostly people on internet offering auction scripts with the name of ebay colon scripts and ebay open source scripts.

I want to just buy these scripts with full ownership in my hand and later on i wan to make changes in scripts. I come to warrior forum to share my thoughts and get some advice / ideas / experience from warrior members.

What you think, either ebay colon scripts or ebay open source scripts are good to use?

The same scripts use by every body is not perfect for google ranking regarding SEO, what you think?

My Personal Experience.
I think script must be different enough from any other website.
I go across many services providers of ebay colon scripts. They all are highly expensive for adding new features to the script. they make us to depend on them. They did not provide you the FTP logins of your site although you invest highly and give them huge payment to make your site different by adding new features. each feature may cost you $600. Now assume. Further the best codding may cost you $2500+ additional features will boost its cost to $6000 or may be more.

So Ebay colon scripts are fail in my views. I did not like ebay colon scripts The only choice i have is Open Source Ebay / Auction Scripts. But i am not sure about it.
