Hey guys!

I want to release my own wrinkle cream product.

Is there a company that will dropship for it and put my own label on it
or would I have to do white label / Private resale with a company to do that?

thanks so much!

Private label it and stock it yourself. Send it to a fulfillment company if you don't want to handle shipping to customers. Limiting yourself to the very, very few distributors that do drop-shipping instead of buying directly from manufacturers and wholesalers will gut your margins. It's not like there aren't 10,000 other wrinkle creams competing for your customers; you need those margins to pay for customer acquisition if you want to make a profit.

You'll need good business insurance, too. You'll have to find an agency that's dealt with private label products, and a private label company that offers good indemnity protection in your agreements, to get any kind of reasonable rate; most insurance companies won't underwrite that without huge premiums. By putting your name on the cream, you are liable if there are any adverse reactions/health effects -- potentially millions of dollars per customer.

      Hey Dan,

Do you have any recommendations for insurance? I am in the supplement business (online and offline) and saw ur post in response to Jarrett. I am looking for a good reliable carrier for my online bus. Thanks

Dan is spot on. For worthwhile margins you must go direct to a manufacturer. In fact the profit difference can be staggering.

That applies no matter what product you want to sell.

I agree with the above. I am in nutritional practice, selling supplements (professional lines) and sell online as well (private label). You are better off stocking it yourself and have much much more control over your business even though it may take more time, management, etc. There are a few great companies and ALOT of poor quality nutritional, beauty supply companies out there. Stick to the better ones, always try to give the best, IMHO. I am in OC if you have any questions email me. blewwave@gmail.com
