Pleas help me in using wordpress and woocommerce

Hi, I'm new in ecommerce. I'm about to create ecommerce website using wordpress and woocommerce plugin. I would like to know, before I start, what are the things that I really needs?

I have done some of my studies, does I really need SSL certificate and private IP address to accept credit card, although I have sign up in Mijireh checkout?

      I work with my sister company that sells medical/pharmacy/hospital equipments. Before this, they sell offline, the sales are great and we already have returning customers. Selling online and having a webiste will increase the conversion somehow, since buy online can ease the whole process.

      I choose wordpress because I more familiar to work with. I just started using woocommerce, having a couple of rough time to get all the setting works. That why I ask the question above at the first place.

    Yes SSL is free on Bluehost, all websites should have SSL now , even if someone tells you other wise, you need SSL, so for store build out, I specialize in this, I hope you have WordPress experience if not you will not be able to build it right. I need more info about your niche, for my real advice.
